Milk Can Stuck on Bear's Head
Milk Can Stuck on Bear's Head
Associated Press, April 20, 2010
READING, Vt. - A Vermont black bear was looking for food in the woods. It looked into an old milk can and got its head stuck!
Wildlife doctor Forrest Hammond says the bear was bumping into trees for six hours before it was found.
At first they tried to use soap to make the can easier to pull off the bear's head. When that didn't work, firefighters were called to cut the can away.
It took a wildlife doctor, firefighters and police about 45 minutes to free the bear's head.
The can-free bear was then sent on its way back into the woods.
